Mark G. Arnone – Founder & CEO

 

Mark is a legislative affairs advisor with a decade of professional experience on Capitol Hill and in the federal government. Specializing in national security and relationship manager, Mark served on the staff of United States Senator Frank R. Lautenberg and at the Department of Homeland Security and the National Nuclear Security Administration.

As a career coach, Mark is passionate about helping empower young people to realize their professional aspirations while advising them on how to find and compete for careers that offer personal and professional fulfillment. If he had to pick one verse in literature he finds most encouraging, it would be from Tennyson’s ​Ulysses​ —“to strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.”

 

Mark is a graduate of The Catholic University of America and Johns Hopkins University

Alan J. Cunningham – Career Advisor

 

Alan Cunningham is a national security professional with a decade of experience working defense and security issues in the think-tank and public service sectors. As a career counselor, he focuses on advising students and early-career professionals interested in pursuing careers in national security and defense policy.
Alan currently serves as a Deputy Program Manager at the National Nuclear Security Administration. His prior experience includes positions with the U.S. Departments of Energy and State, California State legislature, think tanks, non-profit organizations, and academic research institutes. His areas of focus include nuclear security, nuclear deterrent posture and policy, East Asian security, and U.S.-Japan relations.
He is a graduate of the University of Southern California and Columbia University.
